Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at WPS, your day-to-day responsibilities will include a variety of therapeutic activities, including:

• Group Therapy Facilitation: You will lead dynamic group sessions that enable clients to share their experiences and learn from one another, thereby fostering a supportive peer environment.

• Individual Counseling: You will offer personalized therapy, guiding clients through their thoughts and feelings while helping them develop effective coping strategies tailored to their individual circumstances.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborating with clients, you will create detailed and actionable treatment plans focused on their specific goals and needs, ensuring a client-centered approach to mental health care.

• Progress Monitoring: Using various assessment tools, you will track client progress and outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on feedback and data.

• Team Collaboration: Engage with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals to coordinate care, share insights, and discuss complex cases for comprehensive support delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young adults aged 18 to 30 who are engaged in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). This demographic often faces unique mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and transitional issues related to adulthood, making your role critical in facilitating their personal and emotional development.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of New Jersey.
\n
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a passion for helping others overcome mental health challenges.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in a community health or outpatient setting.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques and holistic treatment programs.

• Prior experience facilitating group therapy sessions and conducting individual therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000.
