About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Student Affairs to provide strategic leadership and vision for the student affairs division. The successful candidate will be responsible for deepening the campus culture and advancing the commitment to a transformational education that includes robust academic and co-curricular opportunities. This role involves cultivating strong partnerships across the institution, enhancing the student experience, and fostering a culture of trust, empathy, innovation, and operational excellence. The VPSA will also be a key member of the President's Cabinet, advising on student affairs policies and priorities, and supporting the College's strategic priorities. Candidates for the VPSA position at the company should have executive-level leadership experience in student affairs or a comparably complex, student-centered organization. Essential qualifications include an earned doctorate or a master's degree with a demonstrable record of senior executive leadership, a minimum of ten years' experience in student affairs, and a strong alignment with the company's mission and student-centered culture. The role requires exceptional interpersonal, communication, and diplomatic skills, as well as a deep knowledge of higher education law and policy. The VPSA will be expected to provide innovative leadership in areas such as the student residential experience, student engagement, and success, and to support a holistic approach to student well-being. Experience in crisis management, budget oversight, and a commitment to pluralism and civil dialogue are also essential.
