As a remote counselor working with Peace, Mind and Life Counseling, you will operate within a supportive virtual framework. Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive clinical treatment plans tailored to participants suffering from acute or chronic mental health issues. Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings to assess treatment strategies and outcomes.

• Facilitate individual, couple, family, and group psychotherapy sessions, employing therapeutic techniques that align with each client's unique circumstances and history.
\n
• Offer guidance and psychoeducation to patients and their families on adhering to treatment plans and medication routines, fostering a supportive environment for recovery.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of patient interactions and treatment progress, ensuring compliance with state regulations and national standards.

• Collaborate with prescribing physicians when needed to assist in screening and assessing clients for potential psychiatric medication benefits.

• Participate in community outreach and utilize community resources to enhance client treatment options, referring clients and families to external services as necessary.

• Incorporate supervision and mentorship for post-master's fellows or associates when required, aiding in their professional development within a clinical setting.

• Respond to and report any safety risks in accordance with mandated reporting requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will engage with a diverse client base, including both children and adults facing various mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or a relevant field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.

• National Provider Identifier (NPI) must be obtained by the time of hire.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in outpatient mental health counseling, particularly with diverse populations.

• Familiarity with teletherapy practices and Digital Health tools.

Compensation and Benefits\n
