Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions, tailoring approaches to address the specific challenges faced by clients dealing with mental health disorders and substance abuse.

• Perform thorough initial and ongoing assessments to understand client needs and environmental factors influencing their mental health.
\n
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, with a strong emphasis on tracking client progress and modifying interventions as necessary.

• Actively engage in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights that align therapeutic goals with overall treatment plans established for clients.

• Provide supervision and guidance to Associate Clinical Social Workers, Associate Marriage and Family Therapists, and/or Associate Professional Clinical Counselors, fostering a learning environment that promotes professional growth. (Level II Additional Duties)

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals experiencing substance abuse issues along with co-occurring mental health disorders. You will support clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, addressing their unique circumstances and the relational dynamics at play within their families and communities. Understanding the specialized needs of this population will be vital as you employ therapeutic modalities tailored to empower clients on their recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

• Education: A Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.

• License: A current and valid license in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Science as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) is essential.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of three years of post-licensure experience in clinical practice, particularly in managing cases related to mood disorders and substance abuse.
