About the Role A law firm is seeking a Family Law Associate Attorney with 5+ years of family law experience to join its family law practice. The position involves independently managing a broad range of family law matters while representing clients through litigation, settlement negotiations, mediation, and trial proceedings. The successful candidate will handle complex financial issues, work closely with financial experts, prepare legal documents, conduct depositions, and provide strategic legal advice tailored to each client's objectives. Attorneys will collaborate with litigation professionals and support staff to deliver efficient, high-quality legal representation. Spanish language proficiency is strongly preferred to better serve a diverse client base. This opportunity is offered through a family law practice representing individuals in divorce, adoption, custody, support, and other domestic relations matters. Attorneys handle sophisticated cases while working collaboratively with experienced legal professionals dedicated to delivering practical and client-focused legal solutions. Responsibilities Independently manage a full caseload of complex family law matters. Represent clients throughout all stages of litigation, including hearings and trials. Analyze complex financial issues arising in family law cases. Collaborate with financial experts to develop effective case strategies. Draft, review, and revise pleadings, motions, agreements, and other legal documents. Conduct and defend depositions in high-net-worth family law matters. Provide strategic legal advice aligned with client objectives. Participate in settlement negotiations and mediation proceedings. Maintain clear, compassionate, and timely communication with clients. Ensure compliance with court rules, deadlines, and professional ethical obligations. Coordinate with firm leadership and support staff to manage cases efficiently. Contribute to the continued growth of the family law practice. Qualifications At least 5+ years of family law experience. Active member of the Arizona State Bar. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Preferred: Proficiency in Spanish. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Required Skills Independent family law case management.
