Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and develop short-term psychotherapy plans tailored to individual client needs.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions addressing a variety of mental health issues using evidence-based modalities.

• Engage in case management, treatment planning, and psychotherapeutic interventions to ensure effective client care.
\n
• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team, including licensed psychologists and nurse practitioners, to deliver coordinated therapeutic services.

• Provide crisis intervention, supportive counseling, and skills training, integrating holistic approaches to treatment.
\n
• Maintain precise documentation of therapy sessions, prepare client reports, and communicate with relevant stakeholders (with client consent) to gather comprehensive data.

• Participate in team meetings and engage in continuous quality improvement practices to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.

• Evaluate and assess treatment plans, making adjustments as necessary, in line with the latest updates in mental health guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT with Psychiatric Recovery House, you will work with diverse patient populations, offering services to individuals and families coping with mental health conditions, dual diagnoses, and complex psychosocial circumstances. Qualifications\n

• A valid LMFT license to practice in the state of New York or a doctoral degree (Psy.D) in a related field.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in psychology, marriage and family therapy, or social work from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of two years of direct experience providing psychotherapy services, demonstrating both clinical skill and understanding of diverse mental health challenges.

• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and electronic health records, ensuring seamless delivery of services.

Preferred Experience\n

• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and the latest DSM guidelines.

• Experience providing services via telehealth, maximizing client engagement and accessibility.

• Background in crisis intervention and family therapy practices will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to 125,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
