Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' symptoms related to mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.

• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans using evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices to foster greater understanding and manage care effectively.
\n
• Continuously monitor client progress through regular evaluations to ensure therapeutic goals are being met and adapt treatment plans as necessary.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for clients, ensuring all aspects of their mental health are addressed.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development workshops to enhance knowledge and skills in mental health.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Advocate for clients, promoting mental health awareness and reducing stigma associated with mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work closely with a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing mood disorders, victims of domestic abuse, and marginalized groups such as the homeless and refugees. Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is essential.
