Work Environment\n

The successful candidate will work in a supportive remote setting that promotes work-life balance. Regular work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations of patient needs, focusing specifically on trauma-related disorders to inform diagnosis.

• Design and implement customized treatment plans that address individual patient goals and therapeutic needs.

• Provide evidence-based counseling sessions that empower patients to develop coping strategies and skills for managing their mental health.

• Monitor patient progress through regular discussions and assessments, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Facilitate educational workshops for staff and patients on managing trauma and stress through effective coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with healthcare providers, social services, and community organizations to coordinate additional support and resources for patients.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by completing required continuing education courses to maintain National Certified Counselor certification and stay current on best practices in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on adult patients who have experienced trauma, including accidents, abuse, and other life-altering events. You will be integral in providing the emotional support, therapeutic guidance, and recovery strategies that these individuals require to reclaim their life and well-being. Your empathetic approach will facilitate trust and encourage open dialogue, essential to successful therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• Valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credentials.

• At least three years of hands-on experience working with trauma-affected patients.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
