Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial evaluations to assess patient needs, identifying their mental or emotional disorders and developing personalized treatment plans.

• Engage with patients to actively listen to their experiences, provide emotional support, and collaboratively build coping strategies to address their specific challenges.

• Monitor patient progress, modify treatment plans as necessary, and maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.

• Educate both staff and patients about effective stress and trauma coping mechanisms, empowering them to develop healthier response strategies.

• Coordinate with other healthcare providers and community resources to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients, facilitating referrals and access to services.

• Participate in regular team meetings to share best practices and insights on patient care, contributing to a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

• Commit to professional development by completing continuing education courses necessary for maintaining National Certified Counselor certification, ensuring that our practices remain current and effective.

You will primarily work with trauma injury patients seeking to overcome various mental and emotional challenges. Compensation and Benefits\n
