Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibility will be to conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with clients using video chat technology. Specific duties include:

• Facilitating individual therapy sessions to enhance clients’ mental health and overall well-being.

• Encouraging clients to explore and discuss their emotions, experiences, and challenges to gain insight into their behaviors and relationships.

• Collaborating with clients to define their therapeutic goals and advocating for their needs throughout the treatment process.

• Conducting thorough evaluations of clients’ mental health conditions and creating personalized, solution-focused treatment plans informed by your clinical expertise.

DoCare Counseling Center focuses on low acuity clients who are pre-screened and deemed stable. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and have varying life experiences, allowing you to tailor your approach to meet their specific needs effectively. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
\n
• A valid independent license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Limited or provisional licenses are not accepted.

• Demonstrated ability to make professional evaluations, decisions, and recommendations for effective treatment planning.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, alongside empathetic and compassionate communication abilities.
\n
• Strong proficiency in using computer systems and telehealth technology to conduct sessions.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, preferred candidates will have previous experience in providing counseling services in a remote setting and familiarity with digital telehealth platforms.
