Regional Business Development Executive, Overhead Crane & Hoist Solutions

Picture your week: steel-toe boots on, you’re walking a plant floor with a Maintenance Manager, spotting an aging hoist that’s overdue for an upgrade. By afternoon, you’re whiteboarding a service agreement with our engineering and service teams. The next morning, you’re back on the hunt—prospecting into a logistics hub, securing a first meeting with the Ops Leader, and moving a fresh opportunity into your pipeline. If building new business energizes you more than babysitting house accounts, you’ll thrive here.

What You’ll Tackle

• Consistently prospect and develop new opportunities across manufacturing, construction, logistics, and broader industrial markets.
• Engage decision-makers—Plant Managers, Maintenance Managers, and Operations Leaders—to uncover problems worth solving.
• Walk sites to identify actionable needs: repairs, retrofits, upgrades, and new crane/hoist systems.
• Sell complete solutions: crane systems, hoists, inspections, parts, and recurring service contracts.
• Own the full sales cycle—from first outreach through close—building and managing a robust pipeline without reliance on house accounts.
• Collaborate with service and engineering to scope practical, durable solutions that deliver results.
• Track and own your numbers: pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, and close rates.

What You Bring

• 3–7+ years of B2B sales success in industrial or manufacturing environments (crane system sales experience is a plus).
• A hunter’s mindset with a record of creating and closing net-new business.
• Comfort on active job sites (PPE on, steel toes laced) and the ability to “speak job site.”
• Relentless follow-up and persistence—because deals don’t close themselves.
• Mechanical/technical curiosity—no need to engineer it, but you can understand it.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $70,000–$80,000 (DOE)
• Uncapped commission (OTE $120,000–$180,000+)
• Car allowance/mileage
• Full benefits package + 401(k)
