Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at our practice, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to understand clients’ mental health needs and developing tailored treatment plans.
\n
• Providing individual, couple, and family therapy sessions, focusing on evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

• Engaging in regular supervision and collaborative case reviews to ensure the highest quality of care.
\n
• Utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans.

• Maintaining compliance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations, ensuring confidentiality in all communications.

• Actively participating in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance your therapeutic skills and organizational knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your client focus will include a diverse population encompassing children, teens, adults, and families facing various challenges, such as trauma, grief, relationship issues, and mental health disorders. You will be expected to build relationships grounded in respect and understanding of each client’s unique cultural background and family dynamics, promoting an empathetic therapeutic alliance.

Qualifications\n

To be a successful candidate for this position, you must possess:

• A Master’s Degree from an accredited graduate program in Counseling, Marriage and Family Studies, or a related field.

• An active, unrestricted LMFT license in the state of Texas.
\n
• Strong verbal, written, and non-verbal communication skills, with proficiency in both English and Spanish preferred.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health setting, particularly emphasizing work with children, adults, and families.
\n
• A commitment to respect and sensitivity regarding the cultural and individual needs of each family.

Preferred Experience\n

Additional considerations for ideal candidates include:

• Training in clinical modalities such as CBT, TF-CBT, or EMDR, and expertise in specific areas like trauma, LGBTQ+ issues, grief and loss, or perinatal mental health.

• A willingness to join insurance panels as an in-network provider to enhance service accessibility for clients.
\n
• Proficient use of EHR software and Microsoft Office, with a comfort level for providing telehealth sessions.
\n
• Ability to work two evenings per week and one weekend day as part of your regular schedule.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Your efforts will be rewarded with an annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 105,000, along with performance-based bonuses.
