Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the symptoms of mood disorders in clients, taking into consideration their individual experiences and history.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs, preferences, and goals, ensuring active client engagement in their care process.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to effectively address mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies, fostering a supportive and informative atmosphere that empowers clients.

• Monitor client progress regularly, using data and feedback to adjust treatment plans to ensure continued effectiveness and client satisfaction.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for clients, enhancing overall treatment outcomes.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to continuously improve therapeutic strategies and client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position will primarily focus on clients dealing with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Therapists will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client base, ranging from children and adolescents to adults and families, ultimately enhancing the therapeutic experience by addressing a wide array of backgrounds and perspectives.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.
