Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse (RN)

• Assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a group of patients.
• Educate patients and families on health promotion and disease management.
• Administer medications safely in accordance with hospital policy.
• Utilize resources effectively, ensuring productivity and efficiency.
• Participate actively in nursing shared governance and development initiatives.
• Support the learning and integration of new employees and students.

Requirements of the Registered Nurse (RN)

• Current New York State Registered Nurse License
• BLS and ACLS Certification
• Experience with intensive cardiac patients, including CHF, COPD, and septic shock
• 0.5 to 3 years of nursing experience
• Proficiency with EPIC systems
