Admissions Coordinator - Full Time - Onsite - Range $85,000-$95,000
Job Overview
The Senior Admissions Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing the intake process for patients in a healthcare setting. This position involves coordinating admissions, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and providing exceptional patient service. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial telephone screenings for potential patients and referral sources.
- Evaluate admissions criteria and coordinate with the clinical team on patient appropriateness.
- Answer inquiries about the program and provide information to patients and families.
- Complete and review admission paperwork, consents, and orientation materials.
- Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and CTM.
- Arrange tours for prospective patients and families.
- Coordinate obtaining and processing outside medical records.
- Protect patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and facility policies.
Skill Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of admissions coordination experience in a behavioral health or treatment setting.
- Proficiency with Salesforce and CallTrackingMetrics is required.
- Salesforce: 2 years (Required)
- High school diploma or GED (CPR/First Aid certification preferred).
- Knowledge of mental health conditions, the recovery process, and crisis response protocols.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
