As an Allied Universal Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Tue 12:00 AM - 08:30 AM; Wed 12:00 AM - 08:30 AM; Thur 12:00 AM - 08:30 AM; Sat 12:00 AM - 08:30 AM; Sun 12:00 AM - 08:30 AM. What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter spaces to help identify unusual activity and/or potential hazards. Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with site protocols, while documenting observations and communicating security-related information to supervisors and/or client representatives. Support daily operations by preparing clear incident reports, observing for policy violations, and assisting with direction during medical emergencies, visitor issues, and/or other urgent situations. Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
