** Billing & Accounts Receivable Coordinator **
We are recruiting for an experienced Billing & Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join a well-established industrial organization in the Salt Lake City area. This position will have hands-on responsibility for customer billing, accounts receivable, collections, and account reconciliation while working closely with operations and accounting.
** Key Responsibilities **
- Prepare and process customer invoices accurately and on schedule
- Review contracts, purchase orders, pricing, and supporting documentation prior to billing
- Verify billable labor, equipment, materials, expenses, and other charges
- Monitor A/R aging and actively follow up on past-due accounts
- Apply customer payments and research payment discrepancies
- Handle billing adjustments, credits, and invoice corrections
- Resolve customer billing questions and payment disputes
- Reconcile customer accounts and investigate balance discrepancies
- Maintain accurate billing, collection, and customer account records
- Assist with month-end accounting and A/R reporting
- Work closely with project, operations, and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely billing
** Qualifications **
- 2+ years of Billing, Accounts Receivable, Collections, or related accounting experience
- Strong understanding of invoicing and A/R processes
- Experience reviewing contracts, purchase orders, or customer pricing is preferred
- Strong Excel and accounting/ERP system skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable communicating directly with customers regarding invoices and payments
- Industrial, construction, mining, drilling, or other project-based industry experience is a plus
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field is preferred
