Safety & Workers' Compensation Administrative Assistant (Entry Level)
Location: Bell, CA
Job Type: Full-Time
Monday through Friday, occasional Weekend 7am-4pm
No Experience Required – We Will Train the Right Candidate!
Southland Employment Services is looking for a motivated, dependable, and organized individual to join our team as a Safety & Workers' Compensation Administrative Assistant .
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a professional career in Human Resources, Safety, or Workers' Compensation. No previous experience is required. We provide hands-on training and ongoing support to help you succeed.
What You'll Do
- Assist with reporting workplace injuries and maintaining claim files.
- Communicate with employees, supervisors, medical clinics, and insurance representatives.
- Schedule appointments and follow up on employee medical visits.
- Enter and update information in company databases.
- Assist with OSHA logs and safety documentation.
- Help prepare reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence.
- Maintain organized and confidential employee records.
- Support the Safety Department with administrative tasks and special projects.
- Learn workers' compensation procedures and safety compliance through on-the-job training.

- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.
