Physician - Emergency Medicine Profession: MD Specialty: Emergency Medicine Duration: 4 weeks Shift: 2x3 days Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum Years of Experience Required License: Must be enrolled in Medicaid and PECOS Certifications: Board Certified Must-Have: Certified in Emergency Medicine Description:Standard solo Emergency Room coverage for 12-hour shifts.Provider must be Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS.EMR: Meditech 6.1.Open ICU with 1 physician and 2 mid-level split coverage.Annual patient volume is approximately 32,000.Daily patient volume ranges from 90 to 100 patients.Physicians typically see 18 to 20 patients during a 12-hour shift.Housing will be provided in hospital-owned apartments.Patient encounters per shift is required.The facility requires board certification for physicians.Estimated credentialing timeframe is 14 days.Required certifications include ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS.Support services with 24-hour availability include Anesthesia and General Surgery.Other services such as Cardio-Thoracic Surgery, Catheterization Lab, Neuro-Surgery, and Vascular Surgery are not available 24/7.Radiology is available 24/7.Newborn deliveries are not received in the Emergency Department.There is a Labor and Delivery department available. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cynet HealthStaff
