Finance Supervisor

Abbott

Lake Forest, IL

Abbott seeks a Finance Supervisor for its Lake Forest, Illinois location to manage financial planning and reporting for a $300 million US Commercial sales channel. The role involves forecasting, P&L ownership, monthly close processes, and direct support to commercial leadership within the Diagnostics division.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain sales forecasts for annual plans, monthly integrated business plans, and quarterly estimates
  • Own P&L for assigned areas including gross-to-net adjustments, rebate accruals, and expense analysis
  • Investigate variances and identify margin improvement opportunities
  • Develop ad-hoc analyses and present recommendations to non-finance business partners
  • Facilitate monthly area close process and ensure financial data integrity and policy compliance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or equivalent work experience
  • Four or more years of progressive financial experience
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently with broad responsibility and minimal supervision
  • Clear written and oral communication skills across organizational levels
  • Master's degree or CPA preferred
  • Experience with TM1, Cognos, or SAP systems a plus
