Work Environment

This full-time role requires you to work onsite at our outpatient office, where you will join a collaborative team of healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, ensuring that their specific rehabilitation goals are met.
• Maintain a caseload of one patient per hour, allowing for focused and personalized treatment sessions.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques for the development of care plans, which may include manual therapy, exercises, and modalities tailored to each patient's condition.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation process to optimize functional outcomes and engagement in their treatment.
• Document patient progress and treatment protocols meticulously, using EMR software such as WebPT for effective communication and workflow.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and other specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Conduct regular evaluations of patient treatment efficacy, adjusting plans based on patient feedback and progress.
• Promote wellness by educating patients on lifestyle changes that enhance strength, flexibility, and overall physical health.
• Advocate for non-invasive treatment options, focusing on improving patients' mobility while minimizing the reliance on medications.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients with orthopedic conditions, most of whom are covered by private medical insurance. This demographic includes active adults seeking to improve their mobility, athletes recovering from injuries, and individuals managing chronic pain. We emphasize a rehabilitative approach that combines care with education to empower patients in their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A valid DPT Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in California.
• No board actions or disciplinary actions have impacted licensure.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques.
• Strong capability in developing tailored exercise regimens that foster recovery.
• Familiarity with EMR systems such as WebPT, ensuring efficiency in documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly preferred, providing you with a strong foundation for understanding patient needs and effective treatment modalities.
• A history of developing and implementing wellness programs to promote patient independence and improved quality of life is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 125,000 per year, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
