Key Responsibilities\n

• Maintain a caseload of clients, establishing rapport through empathy and strong interpersonal skills while adhering to professional ethical standards.

• Conduct regular sessions with clients to evaluate their progress towards therapeutic goals, address any challenges, and plan for discharge when appropriate.

• Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive, person-centered treatment plans that are tailored to the unique needs and goals of each client.

• Accurately document client interactions and maintain up-to-date progress notes in accordance with best practices and organizational standards.

• Conduct detailed intake assessments to gather necessary information upon a client's entry into mental health services.

• Engage in weekly individualized supervision sessions aimed at professional growth and skill development.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including other healthcare professionals, to ensure holistic care for clients.

• Continually maintain a growth mindset, embracing opportunities for learning and improvement in therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will support a diverse outpatient population that includes individuals of varying ages, backgrounds, and mental health needs. Our target demographic encompasses adults, children, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral issues, and other mental health challenges. The focus on holistic and inclusive care means you'll be engaged with clients from various cultural contexts and with varying life experiences, contributing to a rich, dynamic therapeutic environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field is required.

• A current, unrestricted, and active LPC license in Connecticut is essential.

• A minimum of one year of post-graduate experience is required within a clinical outpatient setting.

• Demonstrated proficiency with technology and comfort using software applications such as Excel, RMS systems, Outlook, and PIMSY.

• Experience in providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families, with a solid understanding of different therapeutic modalities.

• Ability and comfort level to perform intake assessments, articulate client needs, and develop appropriate treatment strategies.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of one year of clinical experience is required, candidates with additional qualifications, such as specialized training in child and adolescent therapies, trauma-informed care, or evidence-based practices, will be highly regarded. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual counseling techniques will also enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 75,000 to 90,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Our fee-for-service model ensures guaranteed rates, enabling you to receive payment ahead of client collections. We also provide:
