Key Responsibilities\n

• Conducting detailed clinical interviews and assessments to analyze clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health.

• Developing thoughtful, personalized intervention and recovery plans tailored to the unique needs of individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitating engaging and therapeutic individual and group therapy sessions that focus on coping strategies, emotional regulation, and personal development.

• Monitoring clients' progress and adapting treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations and feedback.
\n
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic care for clients.

• Following up with clients who may require hospitalization, ensuring continuity of care and effective communication with medical staff.

• Educating clients and their families about mental health conditions and strategies for managing challenges, fostering understanding and support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals grappling with stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid state licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated experience in outpatient mental health counseling.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, and the ability to efficiently document clinical notes and treatment plans.

• Comprehensive understanding of co-occurring physical and mental health disorders, as well as addiction-related challenges.

• Knowledge of best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) and a strong grasp of psychotropic medication treatment plans.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience working in mental health counseling or therapy.

• Experience working in an outpatient setting with a focus on individual and group therapy dynamics.

• Proficiency in using modern therapeutic tools and techniques to enhance client engagement and treatment efficacy.

• Previous experience in developing community outreach programs or educational workshops is a plus.
