The Administrative Analyst will provide direct support to the City Manager's executive team, including two Deputy City Managers, and will work on a wide variety of projects and assignments that impact the organization as a whole. Strategic Initiative Coordination - Support regional planning activities associated with the City's designation as a 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Venue City
- Assist in preparing briefings and presentation materials related to 2028 Games coordination activities
- Help coordinate logistical details for events and dignitary and delegation visits
- Assist with sponsorship outreach and partnership coordination under the direction of executive staff
- Support cross-departmental project tracking and scheduling tied to the City's priorities as a Venue City.
Administrative and Analytical Duties - Assist in the development and monitoring of departmental budgets; prepare expenditure reports, cost proposals, and supporting financial analysis
- Research, draft, and coordinate City Council staff reports; manage the agenda process in coordination with the City Manager's Office and departmental staff
- Support the development and administration of contracts; prepare RFPs and RFQs; process requisitions, purchase orders, and contractor payments
- Conduct research and analysis in support of new and existing programs; prepare written recommendations for review by executive staff
- Research grant opportunities; assist with grant applications, administration, and compliance reporting
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and briefing materials on behalf of the City Manager's Office
Executive Support and Office Coordination - Provide scheduling and calendar management support, as needed, including coordination of meetings, appointments, and City functions
- Manage follow-up, logistics, and correspondence associated with executive-level engagements and commitments
- Serve as a coordination point between the City Manager's Office, City departments, and external partners and stakeholders
