Key Responsibilities\n

• Engage in program planning and organization of services to enhance the delivery of care.

• Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to convey patient progress, needs, and any concerns.

• Document all clinical interactions accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to departmental policies regarding clinical notes.

• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement treatment plans, including discharge planning, based on psychosocial assessments.

• Provide crisis intervention and counseling to patients, utilizing evidence-based methods to treat emotional and behavioral issues.

• Consult and coordinate with family members or support systems to ensure a holistic approach to treatment and discharge planning.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals facing significant mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other psychological disorders. We service a diverse population in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, and surrounding areas. Your role will not only involve direct patient care but also the opportunity to educate clients and their families on coping strategies and resources available to them, ultimately leading to improved mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting is required.

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field is essential.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) is mandatory.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges between USD 90,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
