Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop and implement comprehensive, individualized treatment plans in partnership with clients, focusing on their unique goals and emotional needs.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing, ensuring that sessions align with a harm-reduction model when applicable.

• Provide direct clinical support to clients, facilitating both individual therapy sessions and optional group support sessions designed to engender communal healing and shared experience.
\n
• Engage in regular communication with clients to foster trust and connection, while providing the empathy and clinical engagement skills necessary for effective counseling.
\n
• Encourage and educate clients on the various community recovery support options available to them, like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Smart Recovery, integrating this knowledge into treatment strategies while emphasizing the compatibility with our services.

• Utilize our administrative support to minimize paperwork and focus on client engagement, leading to more effective treatment outcomes.
\n
• Participate in optional monthly peer group meetings and collaborate with the Content Manager to contribute to impactful “Expert Insights” articles.

Our clients typically include individuals seeking to change their relationship with alcohol, who may prefer moderation over abstinence. Qualifications\n

• Must hold a valid LCSW, LCSW-R, LMFT, or LMHC license in the state of New York.

• Possess relevant training and/or certification in evidence-based therapeutic methods such as CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care.

• Demonstrate a solid understanding of the harm-reduction model and the ability to implement it according to clients’ personal goals.

• Exhibit exemplary clinical engagement skills and a deep sense of empathy, essential for building rapport with diverse clients.

• Familiarity with community recovery support options and an open approach to integrating these resources into treatment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in a therapeutic or clinical setting working with individuals struggling with alcohol-related issues.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, with additional bonuses based on performance.
