Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to determine the severity and impact of mood disorder symptoms on clients’ lives, using structured interviews and validated assessment tools.

• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that align with their personal goals and incorporate evidence-based practices to ensure effective interventions.

• Deliver therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adapting techniques to best fit the needs and preferences of each client.

• Monitor client progress throughout the treatment process, utilizing data to adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Queens Cove, you will primarily focus on clients experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. You will work with a wide range of individuals, ensuring that each client receives tailored support based on their unique life experiences and cultural backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as either an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.

• Strong knowledge and application of evidence-based treatment modalities specifically for mood disorders, including CBT and DBT techniques.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish trust and rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• A demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to provide well-rounded care.
