Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a diverse caseload of clients, establishing rapport and maintaining professional ethics as you navigate their unique therapeutic journeys.

• Conduct regular sessions to assess ongoing progress, address client needs, and prepare for discharge when appropriate.

• Create, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans, utilizing a client-centered approach to achieve individual treatment goals.

• Maintain thorough and up-to-date client documentation and progress notes, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical requirements.

• Perform intake assessments to determine clients’ initial mental health needs and appropriate treatment pathways.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will focus on providing therapeutic support to a varied population, including adults, children, and families grappling with mental health challenges. This includes addressing issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma, and other emotional disturbances within a compassionate and understanding framework.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in mental health counseling or a related field is required.

• Possession of a current, active, and unrestricted LPC license in New Jersey is essential.

• A minimum of one year of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting is required.

• Proficiency in utilizing technology for clinical documentation, including familiarity with software such as Excel, RMS systems, Outlook, and PIMSY is preferred.

• Experience in providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families is highly desirable.
