You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including counselors, social workers, and medical staff, to create a comprehensive support system for our clients. Key Responsibilities\n \n Provide tailored, evidence-based therapeutic services to clients, utilizing techniques from cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and other relevant modalities. \n Engage in regular clinical assessments to develop individualized treatment plans that meet each client's unique needs. \n Conduct family therapy sessions, facilitating discussions that improve dynamics and foster healthier communication among family members. \n Maintain accurate and confidential electronic client records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards. \n Participate in case consultations and peer supervision to enhance therapeutic outcomes and collaborate on complex cases. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n You will primarily work with diverse adults and families experiencing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and behavioral problems. Your role will involve addressing the unique cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds of clients in the San Jose area, promoting understanding and respect in therapeutic practices. Qualifications\n \n A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited institution. \n An active LMFT license in the state of California. \n Demonstrated ability to establish rapport with clients and communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms. \n Proficient in clinical assessment and treatment planning processes, with a solid understanding of evidence-based practices. \n Preferred Experience\n \n At least 2 years of clinical experience working as an LMFT, preferably in a community health or outpatient setting. \n Experience with family therapy, couples counseling, and trauma-informed care. \n Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage client records efficiently. \n Compensation and Benefits\n The position offers an annual salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000 , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
