Regional & Domestic Sales Manager - Itasca, IL | 40–50% Travel
$110,000 – $155,000 OTE

As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Regional & Domestic Sales Manager who enjoys building relationships just as much as winning new business. This is not an account management role where you'll simply maintain existing customers. You'll be responsible for expanding our presence, opening doors with new customers, breaking into new industries and markets, and identifying opportunities where our products can make an impact. At the same time, you'll continue to strengthen relationships with our established customer base and become a trusted technical resource throughout the sales process.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities across assigned territories and targeted industries.
• Identify, prospect, and secure new customers while expanding our presence in existing markets.
• Build lasting relationships with architects, contractors, distributors, engineers, consultants, and end users.
• Grow existing accounts by uncovering additional project opportunities and increasing product adoption.
• Conduct product presentations, technical demonstrations, and customer training.
• Understand project requirements and recommend the best engineered solution for each application.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure product compatibility.
• Partner with our engineering and operations teams to develop customized solutions for customers.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate pricing, and successfully close new business.
• Represent our company at trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, CRM activity, and territory plans.
• Travel approximately 40–50% throughout North America.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent industry experience.
• 3+ years of outside sales experience within manufacturing, industrial, construction products, or engineered solutions.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel 40–50%.
• Proven ability to develop new business while growing existing customer relationships.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand technical products, drawings, and specifications.
• Experience selling specification-driven or engineered products is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Experience using CRM software and Microsoft Office.
