• Updated Guarantee Weekly Hours:
  
  • If scheduled for 48 hrs/week, guarantee is 36 hrs - OT billed after 48 hrs
  • If scheduled for 36 hrs/week, guarantee is 24 hrs - OT billed after 40 hrs
  • If scheduled for 40 hrs/week, guarantee is 30 or 32 hrs dependent on scheduling hrs/week

The Cardiac Catheterization Lab provides care to both the acute inpatient population as well as the elective outpatient population. Care is primarily provided within the Cardiovascular Lab located on the 4th floor of the Pruyn Pavilion at Glens Falls Hospital. Staff is available 24/7 for any emergency procedure during off hours, weekends, and holidays. Care is provided through an interdisciplinary team of specialized physicians, registered clinical nurses, registered radiology technologists, and cardiovascular technologists.

• Echocardiogram
• Transesophageal Echocardiogram
• Pacemaker/ICD Insertion and Generator Change
• Cardiac Monitor Implant/Explant
• Cardioversion
• Electrophysiology Study
• Cardiac Ablation
• CardioMEMS

Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!!
NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).

Traveler must be available for call coverage on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year Eve and New Year Day. RTO during these holidays will not be approved. Thanks!8hrs non-billable orientation

• Previous Cath Lab experience - Required
• Experience with Adolescent-Geriatric - Required
• NY Rad Tech License - Required to inject contrast dye per NYS guidelines
• ARRT (R) - Required to inject contrast dye per NYS guidelines

Profile Requirements:

• Work History
• Skills Checklist (pertinent to position), current to 1 year
• 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment)
• License/Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile (Current NY State Rad Tech License, ARRT and BLS - Facility will not pend license/certs)

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

• ARRT
• BLS (AHA)

STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :

• New York

ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS : NY license must be in hand at profile upload. Facility will not pend license
Weekend Requirements : Every 4th weekend and HOLIDAY CALL REQUIRED
On Call Requirements : 1-2 nights/week and HOLIDAY CALL REQUIRED
