This is a full‑time, in‑office role in San Diego, CA (remote positions are not available). As Director of Sales, you will lead a team of 8–12 Business Funding Advisors in a primarily inbound lead environment. Your team will be responsible for consistent follow‑up and conversion across phone, SMS, and email. Your primary objective is to build, refine, and scale a sales playbook modeled on our existing top performers. Responsibilities Grow, develop, and manage an elite inside sales team. Build and optimize sales processes, KPIs, and reporting. Hold your team accountable while creating a fun, high‑energy environment. Coach a consultative, value‑based sales approach. Create strong value propositions and build lasting client relationships. Assist with high‑value or complex transactions and key negotiations. Partner closely with leadership on forecasting, strategy, and new initiatives. Qualifications Minimum 3+ years managing inside sales teams or equivalent leadership experience. Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus. Proven top performer with history of exceeding goals. Outstanding leadership, initiative, communication (verbal and written), critical thinking, and ability to execute complicated sales strategies. Collaborative team player. Strong knowledge of CRM applications and Microsoft Office suite. Desire to work in a fast‑paced environment with ability to perform under pressure. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience selling business financing or other B2B financial products. Prior experience with Salesforce.com platform. First‑year total compensation is expected to range from $150,000 to $200,000, with subsequent years expected to exceed $250,000+. Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, and education.
