Make a difference every day by providing in-person, onsite support to high school students in a vibrant educational environment. This full-time contract assignment runs from now through June 11, 2027, with working hours Monday through Friday from 7:15am to 2:15pm. As a key support professional for general education students in grades 9–12, you’ll leverage your specialized expertise to empower student achievement and overall well-being.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Valid credentials for SLP (CCC or eligible CFY status) or SLPA, with experience in school or healthcare settings
- Proficiency in pediatric and adolescent speech-language therapy
- Experience with Section 504 Plans and compliance monitoring
- Knowledge of caseload management and progress tracking
- Strong collaboration skills with teachers, counselors, and staff
- Comfort communicating with parents via various channels (email, phone, in-person)
- Teletherapy experience is a plus
Responsibilities Include:
- Overseeing and supporting a high school caseload (number TBD)
- Monitoring student progress and grades
- Ensuring Section 504 Plan compliance
- Collaborating with counselors, teachers, families, and other service providers to foster student success
- Participating in staff and team meetings
- Documenting and reporting student outcomes
- Facilitating communication between school, home, and support systems
- Other responsibilities as assigned
