Job Description Job Overview: Search Solution Group is seeking a Bookkeeper on behalf of our client, a construction company. This role is a key part of the accounting team and provides broad financial support across payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment where responsibilities span multiple areas.

Key Responsibilities: Process and manage payroll accurately and on a regular schedule Support accounts payable functions including invoice processing and vendor payments Assist with accounts receivable activities such as invoicing and payment tracking Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation Reconcile payroll, AP, and AR transactions as needed Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting Assist with general accounting tasks and special projects as required Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations

Requirements include: Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred

Experience: 2+ years of experience in payroll, accounting, or a related role Experience in a construction or similar industry is a plus Exposure to AP and AR processes preferred

Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Strong organizational and time management skills Effective communication skills

Certifications: Payroll or accounting certifications are a plus but not required

Knowledge: Understanding of payroll processes and basic accounting principles Familiarity with AP and AR workflows Knowledge of accounting systems and software preferred
