Benefits Competitive salary Flexible schedule Paid time off Practice Overview We are a patient-centered family medicine practice seeking a part-time Endocrinologist to collaborate with our primary care team in managing patients with diabetes and hypercholesterolemia. This role will provide specialized endocrine care within a familiar primary care setting, improving access and continuity for our patients. Position Summary The Endocrinologist will evaluate, treat, and follow adult patients with Type1 and Type2 diabetes, dyslipidemia, and related metabolic conditions. The physician will work closely with family medicine providers to co‑manage complex cases and optimize long‑term outcomes. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and manage Type1 and Type2 diabetes Provide ongoing care for patients with hypercholesterolemia and lipid disorders Develop individualized treatment plans, including lifestyle counseling and medication management Interpret laboratory results and adjust therapy accordingly Collaborate with primary care providers for coordinated, team‑based care Educate patients on disease management, prevention, and long‑term complications Document care in the electronic medical record (EMR) Follow evidence‑based guidelines and best practices Qualifications MD or DO degree Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology Active medical license (state‑specific) DEA registration (if applicable) Strong interest in outpatient, collaborative care Excellent communication and patient education skills Schedule Part‑time position Flexible days and hours (to be determined based on practice needs) Practice Environment Outpatient family medicine setting Supportive multidisciplinary team Established patient base No hospital call required Compensation Competitive, commensurate with experience Options for hourly or per‑session compensation How to Apply Interested candidates should submit a CV and brief cover letter outlining their clinical interests and availability. #J-18808-Ljbffr
