Work Environment

This position is primarily located at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Bonita Springs, Florida, designed to provide a conducive atmosphere for patient recovery and therapist collaboration. You can expect to work onsite in a supportive and multidisciplinary environment alongside healthcare professionals from various backgrounds. With a work schedule set for 40 hours per week, including some variable weekends, you will have the opportunity to engage directly with patients and collaborate with your peers continuously.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate functional limitations and develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Provide expert consultation to healthcare providers regarding a patient's continuum of care, ensuring seamless transitions between treatment stages.
• Deliver high-quality therapy that incorporates evaluation findings, patient education, and the implementation of treatment strategies, while continuously re-evaluating progress.
• Maintain compliance with documentation and treatment standards as per applicable laws, regulations, and professional guidelines, including submitting charges for all services rendered.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care, discussing treatment changes with physicians prior to implementation.
• Engage in community outreach, quality control initiatives, and program development to enhance organizational effectiveness.
• Supervise and mentor support staff, while also contributing to staff education and training programs.
• Continuously improve your clinical skills by participating in professional development activities, meetings, and workshops.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your responsibilities will primarily focus on a diverse patient demographic comprising individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, trauma, neurological conditions, and chronic pain. You will work closely with patients of all ages and cultural backgrounds, conducting therapy that respects their unique needs and promotes optimal recovery and independence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current state license in Physical Therapy.
• Proven ability to deliver excellent patient care and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Competence in word processing and relevant computer applications essential for documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years' experience is required, candidates with specialized training in orthopedic rehabilitation and familiarity with modern therapy techniques will be preferred. Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
