This position is entirely remote, providing the flexibility to create your own work schedule. With no on-site requirements, this role lets you engage with clients from the comfort of your home while maintaining professional standards and interactions through our secure electronic health record (EHR) system. Our support structure handles administrative responsibilities such as marketing for new clients, insurance verification, credentialing, billing, audits, and compliance checks, allowing you to concentrate on what matters most – providing excellent care to your clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct virtual therapy sessions with clients aged 18 and older, ensuring a safe, supportive, and confidential environment.

• Assess and diagnose clients’ mental health conditions using evidence-based approaches, ensuring accurate documentation within our EHR system.
\n
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to client needs and goals, utilizing your experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and/or Psychodynamic Therapy.

• Monitor client progress and adapt treatment strategies as necessary, fostering adaptive coping skills and resilience.
\n
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay updated on best practices in mental health and counseling techniques.
\n
• Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and professional standards, ensuring that all client interactions adhere to ethical guidelines.

Your practice at Methodist Healthcare Center will span diverse groups, including individuals from various cultural backgrounds and communities, specifically focusing on providing inclusive care to the LGBTQIA+ population and addressing men’s mental health. You will be instrumental in delivering psychotherapy to clients who may face unique challenges and marginalization, thereby contributing to their overall mental well-being and community integration.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
\n
• An active LCSW license to practice in New Jersey.
\n
• A minimum of 3 years of post-licensure clinical experience in social work or mental health counseling.
\n
• Demonstrated proficiency in CBT and/or Psychodynamic Therapy methodologies.
\n
• Experience providing therapy to diverse populations, including minority and underserved communities.
\n
• Possession of professional malpractice insurance is required.
\n
• Ability to provide empathetic and engaging therapeutic interventions tailored to individual client experiences.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with clients from the LGBTQIA+ community is preferred but not mandatory.

• Prior work in supporting men’s mental health issues is also regarded favorably.

Compensation and Benefits\n
