Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide one-on-one psychosocial counseling to adolescents, employing solution-focused therapeutic techniques tailored to each individual’s needs.

• Assist adolescents in building coping skills to manage current challenges as well as anticipate future obstacles effectively.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate treatment planning and deliver crisis evaluations to ensure timely support for at-risk youth.
\n
• Conduct crisis intervention assessments, along with necessary screenings, to establish comprehensive treatment plans.
\n
• Deliver specialized care to adolescents facing serious mental health challenges, including those who are cognitively impaired or developmentally disabled, ensuring an inclusive approach to care.

• Lead group counseling sessions focused on various mental health topics, fostering a supportive and informative environment.
\n
• Maintain thorough documentation of all clinical interactions, including treatment plans, intake assessments, and progress notes, in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Facilitate training for probation and detention staff, equipping them with effective strategies to support adolescents under their care.
\n
• Coordinate discharge planning with community providers to ensure a seamless transition and continuity of care for clients post-detention.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on adolescents grappling with various mental health issues, such as anxiety disorders, depression, and trauma-related conditions. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• The annual salary range for this role is $80,000 to $100,000, based on experience, skills, and geographic location.
