Work Environment

Our Sparks clinic features a state-of-the-art facility specifically designed for outpatient care. The full-time position typically follows a Monday to Friday schedule, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while engaging directly with patients on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical health, functional mobility, and overall well-being to develop personalized and effective treatment plans.
• Design and implement specific therapy programs aimed at achieving each patient's rehabilitation goals, focusing on pain reduction, mobility restoration, and functional enhancement.
• Administer hands-on treatment techniques for orthopedic injuries, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to facilitate recovery.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, chiropractors, and other health care providers within a multidisciplinary team to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, recovery strategies, and exercises to promote independence and long-term wellness.
• Document treatment progress and outcomes using EMR systems, particularly WebPT, to maintain accurate patient records and streamline communication with the care team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at our outpatient clinic, you will serve a diverse clientele, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, individuals healing from surgery, and patients managing chronic pain conditions. Your role will be crucial in guiding these patients through their recovery journeys, offering both expert clinical care and compassionate support. You will need to adapt treatment approaches to meet the unique needs of each patient, all while fostering their engagement in the rehabilitation process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active Physical Therapy license in the state of Nevada.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records systems, preferably WebPT, to efficiently manage patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings is highly valued, particularly working with sports-related injuries and post-operative recovery protocols. Candidates with additional certifications in specialized therapy techniques or experience in patient education will be especially considered.

Compensation and Benefits

Movement State Physical Therapy offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
