About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Programming & Production to be its chief programmer and artistic curator. This senior management role is pivotal in shaping the creative identity, commercial vitality, and audience experience across the organization's stages. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, booking, producing, and programming a diverse range of content, including Broadway engagements, original theatrical productions, touring shows, concerts, and special events. The role demands a strategic leader who can balance artistic ambition with financial sustainability, cultivate relationships with industry partners, and ensure that all events are delivered with excellence and a high standard of service. The Vice President will also be involved in strategic planning, operational implementation, and community engagement, and will oversee a team to support the organization's mission and values. Applicants for the Vice President, Programming & Production position at the company should have a bachelor's degree, with an advanced degree being highly desirable, and 8-10 years of senior management experience in programming and production within the performing arts or creative industries.
