About the Role
The Company is seeking a Division Chief of Gynecologic Oncology to lead a team of four fellowship-trained gynecologic oncologists and one advanced practice clinician. The successful candidate will be responsible for the academic and clinical leadership of the division, including directing a multidisciplinary team that provides comprehensive cancer care. This role involves not only overseeing the clinical practice but also leading quality, education, and research initiatives, and developing faculty. The Division Chief will be a key partner in advancing departmental and division goals, fostering a culture of excellence, and ensuring the financial stability and expansion of gynecologic cancer care. Applicants for the Division Chief position must be board-certified or board-eligible in OB/GYN/Gynecologic Oncology, with a strong academic and research background in the field. The role requires a leader who is an accomplished manager and administrator, with a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in mentoring and developing faculty, trainees, and community clinicians. The Division Chief will also be expected to foster relationships outside the institution to enhance gynecologic oncology services in the region. A Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree is required, along with completion of an ACGME-accredited OB/GYN residency and an approved fellowship in gynecologic oncology.
