Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary interviews to understand the client’s history and current mental health status, documenting findings accurately from the initial consultation through to the conclusion of treatment.

• Evaluate clients’ mental, behavioral, and emotional health to create tailored treatment plans that reflect their unique needs and circumstances.
\n
• Develop, implement, and monitor recovery and intervention plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups in collaboration with clients and their support systems.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices to ensure effective treatment.
\n
• Regularly assess progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, leveraging therapeutic techniques to help clients meet their goals.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical professionals, to formulate comprehensive intervention plans and ensure continuity of care.

• Follow up with hospital staff and psychiatrists for clients requiring additional support during hospitalization.
\n
• Proactively identify and address behaviors that may hinder recovery, providing clients and their families with coping strategies and resources.

• Support family members and primary caregivers by providing guidance and strategies to manage their loved ones’ mental health challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
\n
• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor with a strong emphasis on clinical insights and therapeutic techniques.
\n
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems, particularly AVATAR, to manage client documentation and therapy notes efficiently.
\n
• A solid understanding of co-occurring disorders, including physical health conditions and addictions, and the ability to address them in treatment planning.
\n
• A comprehensive knowledge of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) standards and best practices.
\n
• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to express empathy and rapport effectively.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills characterized by a compassionate and supportive disposition.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience working in a virtual or telehealth environment to facilitate client interactions effectively.

• Experience with various therapeutic modalities and frameworks that enhance treatment offerings, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Familiarity with local and state resources available for mental health support and treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, new team members may be eligible for a sign-on bonus. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
