Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred License: State license required Certifications: BCLS and NIHSS required Must-Have: - 2+ years of experience preferred - Ability to float within the service line Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for a position in a neurology unit. The role involves caring for patients with orthopedic and neurological conditions. The nurse will manage a patient ratio of 1:6. Two weekend shifts are required every other weekend. First-time travelers are accepted. Floating to other units may be required. BCLS and NIHSS certifications are mandatory. Candidates must be prepared to complete all competency checks and training modules prior to starting. Compliance with all standard nursing practices and protocols is required. This position does not allow for on-call duties. The hospital features a total of 233 staffed beds and utilizes EPIC for charting. Candidates must possess the ability to manage IVs and telemetry monitoring. Additionally, experience in total joint replacement and cerebrovascular accidents is preferred. Adherence to infection control guidelines and the use of PPE is essential. This position may involve exposure to additional patient populations based on facility needs. All travelers are expected to fulfill the terms of their signed agreement in full. No new requests for time off will be considered after submission of the application. Compliance deadlines must be adhered to for a timely start date. Candidates must maintain a professional demeanor and provide quality patient care at all times.
