Business Development Center Representative

Overview Primarily responsible for lead generation activities in support of the company’s sales and service goals. Location : 3325 Satellite Blvd, Duluth, Georgia 30096 Responsibilities Answer all incoming phone calls according to a proven, pre-set script, and schedule a sales or service appointment. Log all customer comments into the Dealership Management System. Schedule follow-up contact if no appointment is made in the Dealership Management System. Confirm scheduled appointments with future customers. Post scheduled appointments on the appointment board in the Business Development Center. Reschedule “no-show” customer appointments. Follow up with the sales or service department to determine if the appointment was kept and what the outcome was. Schedule future contact as needed. Maintain and update customer changes in the database. Contact the current customer base about current marketing incentives. Respond to customer website requests (internet inquiries). Contact internet clients via e-mail and phone to schedule a sales or service appointment. Notify necessary departments to inform of appointments set. Forward any customer concerns to the correct department Manager and follow up. Maintain CSI at or above company standards. Maintain an organized, clean and safe work area. Participate in required training and follow Safeguards rules and regulations. Demonstrate the company’s Core Values. Maintain accurate timekeeping records in the timekeeping system. Comply with company policies and procedures; observe all applicable safety rules and regulations. Other duties as assigned. Education and Work Experience GED High School Diploma Associate Degree Bachelor Degree Master Degree Doctorate Degree Field Of Study/Work Experience: Accounting, Automotive, Business, Human Resources, Information Technology Desired Work Experience: up to 3 years 3-5 years 5+ years Previous customer service and/or business development experience. Ability to deliver superior customer satisfaction. Other Requirements Valid Driver’s License Computer Skills: Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office; ability to operate Dealership Management System and related software. Skills Communication: Ability to understand and follow instructions; communicate effectively with customers and personnel. Attendance: Regular and predictable attendance; shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical Demands: Frequent talking/hearing; may sit for extended periods; manual dexterity as needed. Environment: Work primarily in the Business Development Center with regular interaction with customers and staff. Verbal and Writing Ability: Read and comprehend instructions and correspondence; communicate courteously and professionally. Math Ability: Basic arithmetic. Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and handle standard situations.
