Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting in-depth clinical assessments to identify patient needs and developing evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each individual.
• Utilizing an array of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to equip clients with the skills they need to navigate their mental health challenges.
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical records, fully complying with HIPAA and state regulations to ensure the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Engaging in holistic collaboration with a team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure integrated care for students.
• Facilitating educational workshops and resources for both patients and their families, enhancing their understanding of mental health issues and available support.
• Participating in weekly case consultations and peer review meetings to foster professional development and elevate the quality of care provided.
• Staying informed on current research and trends in mental health to continually improve therapeutic practices and outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with school-aged children and adolescents, addressing a spectrum of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and trauma-related concerns. By developing rapport and trust with students, you will help empower them to express their emotions, set goals, and work towards improved mental health, fostering resilience and academic success.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will present the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license to practice in California, underscoring a commitment to exemplary standards in clinical practice.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience, particularly in providing psychotherapy in school and community settings.
• A comprehensive understanding of solution-focused interventions and a track record in achieving meaningful client outcomes.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, enabling you to positively engage with clients and colleagues alike.
• Effective problem-solving abilities and a reflective practice approach to confidently address the complexities of mental health challenges.

Preferred Experience

Experience working within educational settings is highly desirable, as familiarity with school systems will significantly enhance your effectiveness in liaising with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders in fostering student success and well-being.

Compensation and Benefits

We value the expertise and compassion our LCSWs bring to our team. The salary for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
