Inspector-Magnetic & Penetrant

We are seeking an NDT Inspector – Magnetic Particle for our Quality team at Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) in Ridley Park, PA. The role involves conducting Non‑Destructive Testing (NDT) on aerospace products using Magnetic Particle (MT) and Liquid Penetrant (PT) methods, working with digital and automated inspection systems in a regulated aerospace environment. Position Responsibilities Set up specialized NDT equipment and develop associated procedures. Perform magnetic particle and penetrant tests, collecting and documenting data. Analyze results, communicate findings, and recommend corrective actions. Provide feedback on adverse trends and assist with corrective actions. Conduct certification preparation training for Trainees and LevelI NDT personnel. Act as the point of contact for certification and acceptance of repairs. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) High school diploma or equivalent. Formal, documented hours of NDT training/experience or military equivalent. Current or prior (within the last 2years) NDT certification in Magnetic Particle. Experience in Magnetic Particle Bench Method. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word). Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) 1+ year of experience conducting aerospace inspections. LevelIII NDT Certification in MT. Additional NDT certification in PT or ET. Other Relevant Information and Requirements Must be a “US Person” as defined by 22C.F.R.§120.15 (e.g., USCitizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee). Position is 100% onsite in Ridley Park, PA. Hourly position governed by the UAW Collective Bargaining agreement. Hourly pay range: $37.24–$50.00.
