Senior Director, Commercial

The Role We are looking for an exceptional, entrepreneurial Senior Director, Commercial to join our German Leadership Team. This high‑stakes, strategic role is designed for a leader who excels at bridging the gap between commercial ambition and operational reality. In this role, you will be the primary architect of our Doctor Engagement Strategy, moving beyond traditional business development to orchestrate a unified approach across the entire business. You will bring together Sales, Marketing, Product, and Engineering to ensure Oviva provides a seamless, high‑value experience for healthcare professionals across Germany. As a key member of the German Leadership Team, you will work closely with the Managing Director and stand in for the MD in internal leadership forums and external high‑level representation, progressing toward a future country leadership role. Responsibilities Lead and direct a dedicated, multi‑disciplinary team, including Doctor Sales, Product, Engineering, and Data Science, to achieve measurable outcomes. Own the end‑to‑end lifecycle for doctors across all relevant healthcare segments (GPs, specialists, clinics), driving awareness and education through activation and long‑term relationship management. Execute the commercial strategy for the B2B doctor engagement organization, accelerating Oviva’s growth opportunities. Act as a trusted partner to the Managing Director, contributing to financial performance and high‑level decision‑making. Leverage CRM, website, and marketing automation to unlock new engagement methods, working closely with Product and Engineering. Build deep, lasting relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and medical associations, enhancing Oviva’s clinical credibility within the German healthcare community. Desired Qualifications Proven track record of leading complex, cross‑functional initiatives with commercial, tech, and product teams. Strategic visionary who looks beyond immediate targets to build a sustainable engagement ecosystem. Executive presence required to influence at board level and ready to assume country‑wide leadership responsibilities. Deep knowledge of the German healthcare landscape and passion for digital solutions to improve patient outcomes. Professional and fluent in German and English, capable of inspiring internal teams and building trust with external partners.
