Conduct evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients through validated assessments and observational tools.

Craft personalized treatment strategies that focus on achieving both immediate and enduring communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.

Administer individualized speech therapy sessions emphasizing communication, language fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques.

Partner collaboratively with physical and occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, family members, and caregivers to design integrated care plans.

Provide educational resources for patients and families to facilitate progress beyond therapy sessions.

Occasionally conduct inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions, ensuring a seamless continuum of care throughout recovery.

Maintain precise and timely records in accordance with state, federal, and institutional regulations.

Engage in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of advancements in speech-language pathology.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) required if not yet ASHA-certified.

State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification needed within 30 days after starting employment.

Expert in evidence-based treatment modalities for individuals across the lifespan, with a comprehensive awareness of speech, language, and swallowing challenges.

Outstanding interpersonal communication skills with patients, their families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Capability to customize therapy approaches to meet varying cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Strong clinical reasoning and analytical skills.

Competent with electronic medical records and applicable documentation standards.
