Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to develop individualized treatment plans that align with each patient's specific recovery goals, taking into account their medical history and current capabilities.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing a range of modalities including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and rehabilitation technologies, to maximize recovery potential.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient progress and treatment plans using our clinical systems to ensure compliance with coding, billing, and quality standards.
• Foster strong relationships with patients and their families, providing education on recovery processes and strategies to enhance outcomes both in and outside the therapy setting.
• Collaborate with the Director of Therapy Operations (DTO) to identify opportunities for clinical improvements, thereby enhancing service delivery and patient satisfaction.
• Ensure adherence to the state practice act and regulations, as well as facility policies, to maintain the highest standards of patient care and safety.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending training sessions, workshops, and seminars aimed at enhancing clinical skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work closely with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, those with chronic pain, and patients dealing with the aftermath of injuries or neurological conditions. Your role is crucial in not just delivering therapy but also in uplifting the spirits of clients as they navigate their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Active Florida State licensure as a Physical Therapist is required.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is mandatory; however, candidates with a Master's or Doctorate in the field will be highly regarded.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to function efficiently in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
