Job Type: Regular, Full time
Location/Shift: Norton, OH; 1st Shift, M-F, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, 1 hour lunch
Primary Responsibilities:
- Match invoices to purchase orders/requisitions and receivers daily.
- Code invoices to appropriate general ledger accounts.
- Verify proper approvals for all purchases prior to payment.
- Voucher invoices into ERP system for payment.
- Maintain vendor information in ERP system.
- Obtain/process tax exempt forms for vendors as necessary.
- Research & reconcile vendor statements to ensure that proper payments have been recognized and paid.
- Communicate with vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Processing of payments to vendors on a weekly basis
- Maintain and organize a filing system for accurate retrieval of information.
- Communicate/interact with department managers and administration as needed to resolve payment discrepancies and enforce accounting policies.
- Process 1099 forms at year-end
- Prepare reports for management as needed.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
